Boomer Boomers

The Australian Men’s Basketball team, nicknamed the Australian Boomers, consistently ranks among the world’s elite teams. But they are not the only team to make their country proud.

In 2025 the Men’s 80+ team (the boomer Boomers, if you will) proudly wore the green and gold to represent their nation at the Senior Basketball World Championships in Switzerland.

These athletes don’t play for records, but for something deeper: proof that age does not dim purpose, that belonging has no expiry, and that the spirit, when in motion, refuses to grow old.
