Marco Serventi is a documentary photographer and filmmaker based in Lugano, southern Switzerland, at the border with Italy.
He holds a degree in Film Studies from the Université de Lausanne, and is a graduate of the Visual Journalism and Documentary Practice program at the International Center of Photography in New York.
His practice centers on the connections between people and place, examining how natural and built environments shape human life and collective experience.

He speaks English, Italian, French, and some Spanish.
