Marco Serventi is a photographer and filmmaker based in southern Switzerland, near the Italian border.
He holds a degree in Film Studies from the Université de Lausanne, and is a graduate of the Visual Journalism and Documentary Practice program at the International Center of Photography in New York.
Clients include The New York Times, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, GEO Magazine, Australian Geographic Magazine, NZZ, Financial Times, Financial Review, UNICEF, Microsoft, among others.
His work has been exhibited internationally, such as at Photoville in New York, the International Center of Photography, HeadOn festival Sydney, and Rotterdam Photo.
He was selected to the Eddie Adams Workshop class XXXV.
His personal work focuses on themes of community, people’s relationship with their environment, and the notion of home.
He speaks English, Italian, French, and some Spanish.
