Marco Serventi is a photographer and filmmaker based in southern Switzerland, near the Italian border.

Born in Lugano, he holds a degree in Film Studies from the Université de Lausanne, and is a graduate of the Visual Journalism and Documentary Practice program at the International Center of Photography in New York, as well as the Eddie Adams Workshop XXXV.

His work has been exhibited internationally and has appeared in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Guardian, Wall Street Journal, GEO Magazine, Australian Geographic, Financial Times, Financial Review, NZZ, among others.

He has also produced commercial work for brands including UNICEF, Clinique, Bristol Myers, Microsoft, Just Eat, Universal Media, and AccorHotels.

His personal work focuses on themes of community, people’s relationship with their environment, and the notion of home.

He speaks English, Italian, French, and some Spanish.
